Driven to ensure a safer, healthier workplace

By partnering with SMS, Toyota aims to strengthen safety awareness, enhance on‑site behavior, and equip teams with the knowledge and support needed to improve conditions across their factory-, logistics hub-, and office- locations. To ensure training is always accessible, SMS provided dedicated apps, kiosks and tablets running the learning solutions, making safety guidance available anytime, anywhere. Reducing incidents and ensuring a smoother, more consistent experience for employees and vendors is essential to maintaining Toyota’s high operational standards.

The Customer

Toyota, the world’s most respected mobility innovator, is committed to creating safe, efficient, and people‑focused workplaces across all their locations. With thousands of employees, vendors and logistic partners moving through factories, logistics hubs, and offices every day, maintaining consistent safety standards is essential. To support this mission, Toyota sought a long‑term partner capable of strengthening safety awareness, improving on‑site behavior, and ensuring a smoother, more secure experience across all environments.

The Solution

To support Toyota in achieving this goal, we developed a practical and accessible training program focused on real‑world application. Interactive e‑learning modules were created for key safety scenarios and on‑site behaviors, ensuring that every employee and visitor receives consistent, high‑quality guidance. The training is delivered through customized apps via dedicated kiosks and tablets on site, as well as on personal mobile devices, making essential safety knowledge available anytime, anywhere.

In addition, drivers and trucks are audited through a dedicated audit module, enabling Toyota to monitor compliance and reinforce safe behavior across all logistics operations.

The training program delivers improvement across Toyota sites on a daily basis. Colleagues, vendors and logistic partners demonstrate stronger safety awareness, leading to fewer incidents and more proactive identification of risks.
